“Let’s reinvent our business to leave a positive footprint on the environment.” - Stéphan Delhez

At Delhez, people are at the heart of our daily lives. We owe it to our employees and our children to rethink our business in order to guarantee them all a sustainable future. This approach is based on several fields of action…

Keynumbers

  • 8.000 m²

    of orchard
  • 600 kWC

    Capacity Photovoltaic panels
  • 200 kg

    of honey/year
  • 142 tons

    CO₂ less per year

Shining like the sun

1,941 photovoltaic panels

Our photovoltaic installation has been growing steadily since 2013. Eventually, 142 tonnes of CO2 will be saved every year. It’s a powerful sign of our commitment to a more sustainable future.

Biting into the apple

An 8,000 m² orchard

We’ve planted some 35 different species of tree in order to nurture our region’s fruit trees. It’s an opportunity for our employees and their families to rediscover regional varieties that are all too often forgotten.

Taking root

A shared garden

Each member of staff has the opportunity to devote a little time to the upkeep of a collective vegetable garden, which everyone can enjoy at harvest time. The aim of this project is to raise awareness of local and sustainable production.

Buzzing like a bee

Eight hives

As guardians of local biodiversity, our bees gather honey from four kilometres away. Every year, these little workers produce more than 200 kg of delicious honey, which our teams love.

Counting sheep

20 sheep grazing

Thanks to eco-grazing, the embankments, green spaces and orchard surrounds of our property at Thimister are maintained daily in an environmentally-friendly way.

What are the results today?
